Khan is a lively lad who when he came into rescue wanted to bounce around but has now with some companionship, love & lots of exercise started to quieten down. He had for some weeks lived in a dog run and kennel at his home.
Mary from Pawfect Dog School has been taking a keen interest in Khan & said:
"This is just my opinion,
Khan is typical of a dog who does not like kennel life, his kennels are warm, safe, secure, he's well cared for and the environment faultless, but Khan needs companionship.
Here is my view and some footage of his personality"
http://vigilgsdrescue.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=418Because of this (& cos he's such a softy) John has taken Khan into foster with him in Chertsey, Surrey.
From John:
"I took Khan over to Mary's to meet up with the lovely Sheba who's been helping him get back to being a happy bunny. Here he is with the 2 girls. We decided he needed to be in a home instead of kennels and so he has come home with me. Since coming home he has slept a lot, I think that Sheba has worn him out. Will update when I know more.
Khan has proved what Mary has said about him that he needs the company of us humans and other dogs,
Overnight he has become one lovable boy with one vision of getting as much love and attention as he can. Even at this early stage he is doing what I want him to do with out question. Up to now I rarely use his name as he responds to every thing I need him to do as if he can understand the human language and I babble on talking to him as if he was human."
